Pai Chai University is one of the oldest and most distinguished universities in Korea. It was founded in 1885, not long after the Joseon government legalized Christianity and reformed the national educational system.

The Appenzeller School of Global Business (ASGB) was established in 2007 with the aim of providing undergraduate degrees in English to a select group of Korean and international students.

Students who are accepted benefit from a scholarship award which waives all tuition costs for the first semester and, should the student maintain a high grade point average, throughout the entire four year program.

The ASGB currently offers two majors, International Business and East Asian Studies. Students benefit from instruction by the highest caliber faculty drawn from the best universities throughout the world.
