Korean students, or those with a parent of Korean nationality, can only be admitted during the spring semesters and must follow the normal admission process for applicants to Pai Chai University. Please consult the PCU website at http://pcu.ac.kr/ All other applicants should follow the process as indicated below.

Schedules |
Students may apply for admission for either the spring or the fall semester. Spring semester usually commences 1st March; the Fall semester 1st Sept. Applications must be received by the appropriate deadline. Application deadlines are as follows: |

| Qualification Criteria |

1. |
Applicants¡¯ parents must not be Korean citizens (for International Applications Only). |

2. |
Any applicant who has received a high school diploma from an accredited high school in Korea or abroad is eligible to register for an undergraduate program at Pai Chai University. |

3. |
Ability in English as either a first language or, an adequate score in a recognized English language test. |

All students who have been awarded a high school diploma, or its equivalent, representing at least 11 years of continuous study, are welcome to apply to the ASGB. Students who expect to receive their high school diploma before the start date of their entrance semester (i.e. 1st September for Fall semester, or 1st March for Spring semester) will also be considered.
All students whose first language is not English must demonstrate an adequate level of English language proficiency, typically through an internationally recognized English language certificate (e.g. TOEFL, TOEIC, CPE, IELTS etc). As a point of reference the minimum score for TOEFL is; 238 CBT and 94 IBT; for TOEIC 800, and for TEPS 695. Students whose first language is not English, but who have completed 3 years of high school education, where English was the language of instruction, are exempt from this requirement.
Students should provide as much evidence of both their academic and extra-curricular achievement as possible. |

Students must submit the following documents for their application to be considered. All documents must be originals, or copies which either bear the issuing institutes seal, or have been notarized as authentic (excluding points 5,6,7,9,11, which may simply be copies).

Graduation Certificate from High School or official letter from school indicating date of expected. graduation for those who have not yet graduated. For differing educational systems proof of at least 12 years of school education is required with accompanying examination results. |

Official transcripts of High School, Middle School and Elementary School results. |

Certificate of English Language Proficiency (not required for those whose first language is English) such as TOEIC, IELTS etc. Those who studied high school in an English language environment for more than 3 years are also exempt. |

Proof of Nationality of the applicant (all students) and his or her parents (Chinese students). |

A Family Census Registration identifying each immediate family member (Chinese Students only). |

The ASGB will review transfer students transcripts of results and decide which year of admission is suitable for the student. Where similar courses have been taken, course content will be checked to verify that it adequately covers the material contained in the ASGB comparable course. Courses taken which do not have a comparable at ASGB may contribute towards the GER, where appropriate.
Admitted transfer students will immediately benefit from the Henry Gerhard Appenzeller Scholarship if their GPA is 3.5 or higher (on a scale of 4.5) prior to admission. |

Admission Fee |
A 50,000 won admission fee must be paid directly to the ASGB Office upon the arrival of the student at Pai Chai University. |
